How Do I Submit to the 2017 Annual Meeting of DSI ?

Thank you for your interest in presenting at the 2017 Annual Meeting of the Decision Sciences Institute in Washington D. C.  Submissions for the 2017 Annual Meeting are now being accepted. Submitters MUST create an account at the  Conference Submission Portal in order to submit a Full Paper, Abstract, Workshop, or Panel.

How to create an account to Submit a Paper or Volunteer for the 2017 Annual Meeting of the Decision Sciences Institute

The Conference Management System (CMS) will accommodate submissions of Full Papers, Abstracts, Panel Proposals, Workshop Proposals, and Award Competitions.  

    • Full Paper submissions can be submitted to either the Research Tracks or Education Tracks.  Full Papers will be peer-reviewed and, if accepted, will be published in the conference proceedings, in addition to being scheduled for presentation at the 2017 Annual Meeting of the Decision Sciences Institute.  Full Papers that are not accepted to be published in the conference proceedings may still be accepted for presentation.  Full Papers that are incomprehensible or filled with egregious errors will not be accepted.  Please prepare your Full Paper submission document following the guidelines in the 2017 Initial Full Paper Submission TEMPLATE.
    • Abstract submissions can be submitted to either the Research Tracks or Education Tracks. Abstracts are generally accepted by default unless deemed  inappropriate for, or incompatible with, the track to which it was submitted or to the theme of the 2017 Annual Meeting of the Decision Sciences Institute. Abstracts are not published in the conference proceedings.  Abstracts that are incomprehensible or filled with egregious errors will not be accepted. Please prepare your Abstract submission document following the guidelines in the 2017 Annual Meeting of DSI Abstract, Panel Proposal, or Workshop Proposal Submission TEMPLATE.
    • Panel Proposal submissions can be submitted to the Research Tracks or Education Tracks. Panels proposed generally bring together expertise to discuss research trends, issues, and concerns. Panels proposals bring together expertise to discuss new research or pedagogical methods.  Ideally, names of panelists should be included in any Panel Proposal. Please prepare your Panel Proposal submission document following the guidelines in the 2017 Annual Meeting of DSI Abstract, Panel Proposal, or Workshop Proposal Submission TEMPLATE.
    • Workshop Proposal submissions can be submitted to the Workshops track listed in the Awards and Workshops. They are sessions intended to help attendees learn new methods to improve the conduct of research; the conduct of curriculum design, delivery, and evaluation; or the conduct of professional services (e.g., reviewing).  Please prepare your Workshop Proposal submission document following the guidelines in the 2017 Annual Meeting of DSI Abstract, Panel Proposal, or Workshop Proposal Submission TEMPLATE.
    • Award Competition submissions for the Best Teaching Case Studies Awards, the Project Managment Institue Case Competition and the Instructional Innovation Award Competition  are available under link Awards and Workshops in the CMS.
